Old Photos

My phone got full of things so I went through and deleted a bunch of old messed up pictures.  There were lots of pictures of boxes of wine, you guys.  If I lost my phone and a stranger found it they’d be like “this phone clearly belongs to an alcoholic with very bad taste.”  Anyhoo, I deleted a bunch of pictures and in the process was able to revisit a bunch of photos I had forgotten about.  Do you ever feel like in this era of immediacy and constant social network sharing we are perhaps forgetting about saving things for our future selves?  Not to mention future generations.  Going through all my photos inspired me.  I’m going to order prints of these pictures and put them in a box somewhere so that next time I clean out a closet or redecorate a room or move things around for the  next chapter in my life, I’ll be able to open up this box of pictures and remember this time.  It warms my insides to do things like this.
