Hey you guys.

I just finished another embroidery for my friend Mike.  He is an artist for a video game company and this is for him to hang in his office.

If I ever get my shit together enough to start an Etsy shop for these guys, this will be one of the templates.  It’s stolen from a postcard I got at 826 Valencia that says “That thing you are writing is awesome!” with a thumbs up.  Insert whatever thing you do in there and it’s a pretty inspiring message, I’d say.  That pen is a special computer pen or something, I don’t know, I’m not a scientist.

In other news, looks like my dog has a UTI.  No more thongs for her until it clears up!  Who would have thought putting a thong on your dog would have such negative consequences.  (Relax, PETA, I don’t put thongs on her.  Only 100% cotton full-bottomed panties.)  Also, I made some pretty delicious mushroom barley soup last night, but I think I need to tweak it a bit, maybe start with a vegetable stock instead of water.  I put kale in it because kale should be in everything.  It is the most super of foods.  I’ll make it again and take pictures and share it with you guys.  It’s the season of soups!
